All of us have skeletons in our closet.. sides we do our best to hide from the world. As a woman of faith I know the good lord see's all of that. The good the bad, the ugly, the broken.. he knows our hearts and he loves us anyway even when we are hard to love.
Forgiven was painted in a recent moment of pure frustration and watching the pain it caused by others working on their own agenda. I paint mostly from imagination and what's in my heart. I see her as every persons raw, belligerent dark side. She's full of secrets and emotions others can't comprehend. She's a little scary and full of passion and not for the faint of heart. I know so many amazing humans she reminds me of. I'm beyond proud of her as an original and a featured print. I hope she stirs in everyone the realization we can be imperfect and still be "Forgiven".
