Luke 15

Gosh I’ve been excited about this piece. Streakin B Art collector Tenley Epperson sent me a bit of a challenge. She wanted to see me recreate Luke 15 where Jesus uses the parable going into the wilderness and leaving the 99 to find the lost one. If you are a stockman of any kind you’ve left the herd to look for one that wondered off. We all do it. We want them all there safely. I couldn’t figure out how to make this right so I thought what if they wore the brands as a representation and they were together. All of us get lost. I’ve probably stayed lost most of my life but aren’t we all thankful that when we’re branded with that 1 he’s looking for us?
